ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK – high quality screws and fasteners for the
automotive and electrical industries
Arnold. This name has an almost automatic association with screws.
This manufacturer of high quality screws and fasteners, based in
Ernsbach, and with a rich traditional background, offers much more
than simply making screws. In the mid 1970s a deep-seated change
took place. Where previously the company had been producing a
standardised product range, it now began to concentrate on more
complex screws and fasteners. With its entry into this segment of
the market – that of high quality fasteners – the company faced
new challenges, particularly from its automotive customers. Today
Arnold works with the “majors” within the industry, both at home
in Germany and abroad, and gets involved at the early stages of
development and engineering design for their new parts. Of course,
this first of all requires intensive consultation alongside
comprehensive customer services, and secondly it requires highly
qualified employees who can rise to, and meet the demands of the
market. Arnold has successfully set itself these challenges:
Arnold Umformtechnik’s production programme includes self-tapping
screws for metals (TAPTITE 2000 ®), screws for direct screw
fastenings into plastic (Remform®), clinching screws and studs for
sheet metal (RIVTEX ®), metals and plastics (ATP®-ARNOLD TriPress)
and special parts (extruded parts, screws to drawing, MAThread®).
To supplement these Arnold Umformtechnik also offers its customers
screw retention devices (mechanical and chemical) along with
various surfaces and screwdrivers.
Over the years ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK, based in
Forchtenberg-Ernsbach in Germany, has become a leading development
partner for screws and fasteners. Its slogan means “solutions that
connect”. ARNOLD UMFORMTECHNIK works together with well-known
companies in the automotive and electronics industries. Every day
its over 450 employees work hard to develop and produce more than
15 million screws and fasteners every day. Arnold is part of the
Würth Group.
